Our Story
The BrettWorks name was chosen as a tribute to Brett Barksdale (1959-2020) who sustained gainful employment throughout his adult life despite his challenges and disabilities.
Brett lived and worked in his local community of Conyers, Georgia. With an ever-present smile and strong work ethic, Brett rarely missed a day of work.
In honor of Brett’s heroic and unbreakable human spirit, Brett Works was founded to give people with challenges like Brett the opportunity for meaningful employment.
